Delete your ParhaiPro account

Teachers, staff and parents can ask us to delete their account. A school owner can delete the whole school from the portal.

Teachers, staff and parents

Your account is created by your school, so deletion goes through us rather than through a button in the app.

  1. 1. Send us a request

    Email us from the button below with the email address or mobile number you sign in with and the name of your school. You do not need to be signed in.

  2. 2. We confirm it

    We confirm the request with you and with your school, so nobody can delete an account that is not theirs.

  3. 3. We delete it within 30 days

    Your sign-in, password and personal profile are deleted, and the account stops working in the app and the portal. We let you know once it is done.

Email is best: it gives you a written record of the request.

What we delete

  • Your sign-in: email or mobile number and password
  • Your profile: name, phone, photo and other personal details
  • Access to the ParhaiPro app and portal

What the school keeps

  • The attendance, marks and homework a teacher recorded
  • A child’s fee, payment and exam history
  • Everything else the school needs to keep its records

These belong to the school, not to your account. To have them changed or removed, ask your school.

School owners: delete the whole school

The owner can delete the school and everything in it without contacting us.

  1. 1.Sign in to the portal at portal.parhaipro.com as the school owner.
  2. 2.Open School Profile and press Delete School at the bottom.
  3. 3.Type the school’s name to confirm. Staff and parents lose access straight away.
  4. 4.For 30 days you can still cancel from the same page. After that, the school is erased.

This cannot be undone after 30 days. Every student, staff member, attendance register, fee record, exam result, homework, announcement, photo, file and login belonging to the school is permanently deleted from ParhaiPro. Copies in our backups expire after the backups’ retention period.
